Relocation Information
Located at the intersection of Interstates 70 & 77, Guernsey
County is the heart of business, education, and tourism in
this part of the state. We offer unique attractions such as
The Wilds, an animal preservation facility that is
open to public tours. We offer The Living Word, an
outdoor drama about the life and death of Jesus Christ. We
have many other tourist attractions such as glass factories,
glass museums, art galleries, and antiques and craft shops.
Two large public lakes are ready for boating and fishing.
The outdoor recreation is unlimited. Our
business base encompasses medical, education, manufacturing
and assembly companies. Our location also offers our
companies easy access to the freeways. Our hospital offers
full care with top of the line trauma center and a superb
industrial medical department. We have four different
schools districts that offer K-12 education, two
universities offering classes in our area, and Zane State
College offers an education center dedicated to providing
training for area companies and a High School Career and
Technology Center. Because of the cooperative
environment in our area, companies such as Detroit Diesel,
Ridge Tool
and Colgate have decided to expand current operations.
